Embedded Pump and Fluid-Control Equipment
The MIOF-85CV can provide pressure feedback in compact pumping, fluid-dispensing and valve-control equipment. Its threaded or weldable connection provides direct access to the process pressure, while the constant-voltage bridge output can interface with conventional ratiometric amplification and analog-to-digital conversion circuits. This makes the sensor appropriate for OEM designs in which the controller already supplies a stable bridge-excitation voltage.
Refrigeration and Compressor Controls
The sensor can monitor pressure at suitable points in refrigeration or compressor equipment where the process medium is compatible with the wetted materials. Stainless-steel isolation protects the silicon sensing structure, and an optional snubber can reduce pulsation-induced signal variation. The voltage-excited output is particularly useful in controllers designed around ratiometric measurement.
Process Analyzers and Fluid-Handling Instruments
The MIOF-85CV can be incorporated into analyzers, dosing equipment and process instruments that require measurement of compatible liquid or gas pressure. Its media-isolated construction supports separation between the process fluid and the sensor die, while the available process fittings reduce the need for a separate pressure interface. System electronics perform final amplification, calibration and pressure conversion.
