About the SM5652

Advanced Sensor Ceramic Hybrid Technology (CHT) Series is a temperature compensated, mV output, PCB mounted pressure sensor packaged in a rugged Dual In Line package. The Ceramic Hybrid Technology uses a silicon MEMS pressure sensor bound to a ceramic substrate containing thick film resistors that are uniquely laser trimmed for each sensor. Incorporating a flexible design, the CHT-SM5652 Series is available with short, long or no tubes and can be mounted pins up or pins down to allow OEMs to optimize their board design. The CHT-SM5652 series is powered using a constant voltage with a high level 25mV output. The CHT-SM5652 series superior die performance coupled with rugged ceramic substrate ensures long term stability with superior temperature performance over a wide operating range.

Application Notes

CHT-SM5652

This application note outlines an analog signal conditioning circuit tailored for temperature-compensated piezoresistive sensors with adjustable zero and span. It shows how proper conditioning improves output accuracy in both three-wire voltage and two-wire current loop outputs.

CHT-SM5652

his application note describes a precision signal-conditioning approach that uses a laser-trimmed, on-board gain programming resistor to standardize the output of low-level Wheatstone bridge pressure sensors, enabling sensor interchangeability .

CHT-SM5652

Describes key pressure sensor performance metrics such as accuracy, range, and reference type, explaining how these specs relate to system requirements. It aids engineers in interpreting datasheet values to choose the right sensor
